Robert Janowski, 41, of New Britain, CT, passed away on November 5, 2024. Born on December 6, 1982, Robert was a devoted father, son, brother, and partner, known for his deep passion for cars and cooking. He spent his professional life as the Head Chef at Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, Connecticut, and as a Master Ford Tech at Torrington Ford, where he was highly respected for his technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Robert attended New Britain High School and was an active member of his community. He was deeply involved in his faith, participating regularly in services at both Holy Cross and Sacred Heart Church in New Britain, Connecticut.

An avid outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and riding dirt bikes and ATVs. He cherished time spent with his family and was the life of the party, always making everyone laugh with his quick wit and good humor.

He is survived by his son, Kevin; daughter, Savannah; mother, Zofia; brothers, Andrew and Thomas; girlfriend, Corinne; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrzej.

Services will be held November 14,2024 at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad Street, New Britain, Connecticut, followed by burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt Street, New Britain, Connecticut.

Robert's generous spirit and willingness to help others will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

I met Rob through my friend Bogdan and was so impressed with his quick wit and humor. Always helpful when he was around. So sorry I didn't know him longer. Rest in peace my friend.
