Robert Jefferson Obituary
After graduating Collingswood High School, Bob earned his bachelor's degree in History from Dickinson College (Carlisle, Pa). It was here he made many life long friends participating in football, track and his Fraternity, Sigma Chi.
Bob's career started at Coopers & Lybrand. His career had many highlights including his roles as both a Vice President of ALICO and as a Chief Financial Officer with ACE-INA. During his career, he traveled the world and lived abroad, forging deep relationships with colleagues at each stop.
Bob had many interests outside of the office, including several years developing real estate at the New Jersey shore and Philadelphia. He was an active member of the Episcopal church, participated on numerous Boards contributing time to organizations like the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and Glaucoma Service Foundation.
In 2016, Bob married Denise Brine and they lived in Devon, PA. He devoted himself to their lives together. They traveled near and far and took great care of each other.
Bob will be remembered by his family for his love of so many things including: the beaches of Avalon and Stone Harbor, grilling on the deck, travel, the orchestra, culinary experiences, golfing with his fraternity brothers, Philadelphia sports and above all else - cherishing the time he spent with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife Denise, his children, Nicole and Matthew; daughter-in-law Jeanette; step-daughter Caroline; his brother David and sister-in-law Marcie; Nephew Sean and his wife Stephanie (two great nephews), and Niece Morgan. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Helen and Bryant; his brother Ed; and his sister Ruth.

I owe my career at Alico/AIG to Bob. Bob hired me in 1985 as Alico´s budget manager reporting to Jack Keogh and I spent the next 30 years at Alico. What a blessing to have worked for such a wonderful group of people. I´ll never forget going over the monthly Cost Center reports with Bob. Bob had the best memory I ever witnessed. Rest in peace my friend.

Bob and I had just just reconnected in November 2024-after 64 years. We had been fellow students at St. Peter's Choir School in Philadelphia. We were hoping to get together. I was so sorry to learn of his passing.

I love Bob. His jovial spirit lifts those he touches and it gives joy to me thinking of our time together. Sending all love the hugs to him and to his family in this time of transition. His spirit forever lives on in those of us that shared and enjoyed time with him.
