Robert Lee "Bob" Lassen, 62, passed away on October 14, 2022, in Stockton, California.

Bob was born on September 5, 1960, in Hayward, California. Throughout his life, he built strong connections with family and friends, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him. Bob grew up in Hayward on a farm and had a deep love and compassion for all animals his whole life. He was a part of the Lathers Carpenters Union and spent lots of time working on his home. He loved to spend time with his daughters and grandchildren and talked daily with Susan. He also enjoyed hanging out with his lifelong best friends and brothers, Danny and Frank. He was extremely adventurous whether it was bull riding, skydiving or just wrangling a farm it was always a blast being around him. He passed 5 short months after his beloved wife Christine.

He is survived by his daughters, Hollie and Jillene; his stepdaughter, Leslie; his sons-in-law, Justin and Pieter; and his beloved grandchildren: Sammy, Loren, Alli, Gavin, Anaka, Carter, Vincent, Rylee, Daniel, and Ella. He also leaves behind his ex-wife and best friend, Susan, as well as many extended family members and cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Smith; his grandfather, Alfred Branaugh; and his grandmother, Ellen Branaugh.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Robert and met in highschool and soon after developed a friendship that lasted almost 50 years. Robert ws the closest friend I ever had and is still with me every single day.

You were always a hero in my eyes. I always felt I would always be ok And safe because I had my dad. Anyone could be a father, but it takes a true man to be a dad. And you were the best dad I could ever hope for. You could do anything you put your mind to and you were the strongest man I knew. I love you so much dad and I miss you more than anything and you will and forever be my blue-collar hero.

First off let me say this man right here is truly a legend in my eyes since I was a young girl, I have watched this man rope horses ,help build the arena we rode our horses in,muck stalls and be a comedy show Allen one. I was saddened for sure when I found out. BOB AKA DAD to many of us rug rats at the ranch and neighborhood kids... there is not a memory I will ever forget that we had. You taught me stuff and made me laugh. Til my last breath I owe you the BIGGEST THANK YOU FOR RAISING MY BEST FRIEND HOLLIE TO BE THE AMAZING MOTHER FRIEND AND DAUGHTER SHE IS AS WELL AS JILL. YOU AND SUSAN DID AMAZING. I am sorry I didn't know y I ur step daughter or Christine to well but they knew how amazing you were just as well as the rest of us. Dad, soar high and please continue to watch over your daughters and Susan aka mom...we love u n miss u tremendously...xoxoxo

Bob was the Best . I will never ever let his legacy leave my heart. This man was the best father to all of us rug rats. I know he loved Susan and hollie and Jill very much and was there anytime we all needed help. I watch this man I also had the privilege of calling dad because hollie is my best friend and sister as Jill is as well...Susan is my other mom...I will never forget all the memories this man shared in my life with family and friends. The memories will last till my last breath... Soar high with all our loved ones...I will miss you always and cherish the love and memories. Xoxoxo love u Bob.
