Robert Edward Lee III

Robert Edward Lee III, 30, of Locust Grove, Virginia, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, in Spotsylvania County, Virginia.

Born in Fredericksburg, Robert grew up in Locust Grove, where he graduated from Orange County High School.

He was employed by Smokey Bones Restaurant in Fred-ericksburg, Virginia. He also held a black belt in Tae Kwan Do.

Survivors include his parents, Robert E. Lee Jr. and Velma J. Lee of Locust Grove, Virginia; two brothers, James Lee of Gold Dale, Virginia, and William Lee of Fredericksburg, Virginia; one niece, Amber; and one nephew, Robert.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Johnson Funeral Home in Locust Grove.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2008, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Unionville, Virginia. Donnie Hughes will officiate. Fellow-ship will follow at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Orange County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 446 Orange, Virginia 22960, or the charity of your choice.
