I’m absolutely stunned and dumbfounded by finding out that Rob has passed. We first met way back in 1984 when we packed groceries part time at Sunset Foods. He was a gentle giant who possessed a razor sharp dry sense of humor. I just want to offer my deepest condolences to the Margolis family. Although somewhat late to learn of this horrible news, I’m deeply saddened by this tragic event.

I lost a best friend in Rob. He was someone that I confided in for just about any issues I may have been having in my life at that present time. His easy-going and laid-back personality was comforting and made it easy for me to be his friend. The hardest part for me was not being able to say goodbye. I hope he knew that our friendship meant the world to me. Not sure what I will do to fill the huge void left by his passing.

I met Rob when I was working at Aon and kept in touch afterwards. Spencer was Rob's greatest joy and pride. I was shocked to learn the news from another Aon colleague and wanted to convey my sympathy to Rob's immediate family.

I want to convey my deepest sympathy to the Margolis family. I grew up with Robby as my neighbor and good friend. He was always nice to me and everyone else. We recently reconnected on facebook and he had such nice things to say to me. I am really going to miss him!! Even though I haven't seen him in yrs. I still lost a good friend. You will be missed Robby!!

My condolences to those who were close to Rob. I was at the service today and was moved by the things said, and the unsaid- the unsayable sense of bewildering loss. The suddenness of this tragedy has left me nothing less than shocked and stunned.

Rob was a big personality, and not just because of his size. He made you feel like one of the team. His humor gave challenging situations a laugh track. My prayers and condolences to his son and family.
