Robert Maudsley Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 16, 2018.
Robert (Bob) Maudsley last lived in Attica, New York, before moving to The Villages. He loved The Villages and could not understand why he waited so long to make that last move. His favorite saying was that you could not shovel sunshine.
His celebration of life will be held at Fairway Christian Church on March 22, 2018, at 11 A.M. Instead of flowers, Bob would have preferred a donation to Faith Christian Church.

I had the enjoyable opportunity to meet Bob when I went to visit my brother in Florida. He is someone that when you met him made a great impression on you. He was a huge personality and you could tell lived life completely on his terms. I am so glad my brother found such a wonderful friend in this man. His loss will be felt by so many, but one thing I know, thinking of Bob will always put a smile on your face! P.S.I got to believe my Mom was waiting at the gates with a scotch on the rocks.. RIP big guy!

Bob and I became very close friends at church in the Villages some 2+ years ago. He was like an older brother .. .we were coined in church as "Frick" and "Frack" Bob was a wonderful human being .. he always was on my case for something but we always worked it out over a scotch and water ... no water for BOB!. A unique person with such as dry sense of humor .. I will miss him immensely. RIP in peace my brother .. I loved you as a brother and God rest your soul ... Larry Lace AKA "Frack"
