A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 9th at 10 AM in St. Matthew's Church, 105 Southville Road, Southborough, with interment to follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Framingham. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 8th, from 2-4 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, ASHLAND. We had the pleasure of knowing Bob and Becky during the time of our Liver transplant many years ago. We are saddened to hear of his passing. Our deepest condolences. Bob was a great guy who with a strong constitution. May he rest in peace.

He will always be remembered fondly for his years as Music teacher at Curtis Middle School in Sudbury.
He taught both my daughter Samantha and my son Christopher.
He was kind and supportive , with a great sense of humor.
May he rest in peace.

Becky, Robbie, and Daniel,
I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a huge mentor of mine for many, many years, and helped me through many times in my life, through music expression and personal issue. He touched many young lives and families throughout his career and meant the world to so many.
Please accept my condolences through this time in your lives.

Mr. Mealey was my band instructor at Haynes Elementary and Curtis Middle school in Sudbury. He provided us with our first introductions to instruments, taught us how to read notes, and instilled in us an appreciation for music. Looking back I can admire his patience working with so many children! He will be missed greatly.
