My favorite memories of Uncle Rob are his warm smile, his quiet but unmistakable laugh, and his unlit cigar - which he always had in hand. He and my dad are now together, talking about politics and their childhood pranks.

My Dad, Bob Carter Jr., always called Uncle Rob our oldest living relative. I am sad to know he is gone now. My heart goes out to everyone who knew him.
