ROBERT RAVEY Obituary
81, of Highland Creek, NC (formerly of Pittsburgh, PA) went to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 22, 2012. Born January 10, 1931 in McKeesport, he was a son of Michael and Clara Brahler Ravey. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Prior to retirement, Mr. Ravey worked as a chemical technician at Gulf Research in Harmarville, PA and as a consultant for Suprex Corporation also in Harmarville. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Desatnik Ravey; two children, Renae Ravey and Michael Ravey (Jane) both of Charlotte, NC and two grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers, John Ravey of New Kensington, PA and William Ravey (Dolores) of Tacoma, WA; a sister, Carolyn (James) Erbrecht of McMurray, PA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Frank Ravey of Oakmont, PA. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Joy Church, 2000 O'Block Road, Plum, PA at 11:00 am on Friday November 30, 2012. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, 6507 Wilkins Avenue, Pittsburg, PA. RAYMER-KEPNER FUNERAL HOME, Huntersville, NC is assisting the family.
