My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family during this difficult time. Robert was one of the nicest guys that I have ever met. I can never thank him enough for all of his hospitality during my visit to Hawaii. It was the first time that I had met Robert and he was so generous and fun to be around. It will always be one of my most memorable experiences. I always looked forward to seeing him when he came to visit Pittsburgh and I am deeply sorry that I can not make the memorial service to honor such a great man. We can't begin to express our sorrow for the untimely death of your husband and father. Robert was a very pleasant, funny and generous man. He never failed to invite us to come visit at your home while he was here visiting us. The fact that we never got to do that is something we will always regret. We're just happy that we got to meet him and enjoy his company when we did. We'll also never forget how he and your entire family took our son into your home when he visited Kauai, even though you had never even met him before that and you treated him like a king. That will always remain in our hearts. I'm so sorry we can't be with you at this time, but know that our thoughts and prayers are. May God be with all of you and may Robert rest in peace.
