Robert Smith Obituary
July 16th, 1974 - December 12th, 2024
Robert W. Smith Jr., age 50, passed away on December 12th, 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully in his home due to natural causes.
Robert grew up in Stow, Ohio, where he graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School. While attending Stow-Munroe Falls High School, Robert participated in the band program as a percussionist. Robert served in the Ohio Army National Guard for 6 years as an M-1 Armor Crewman, achieving the rank of Specialist 4. While a member of the Ohio Army National Guard, Robert provided support as security to the 1996 Olympics held in Atlanta, Georgia. Robert resided in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where he raised his 3 daughters for many years. He loved attending local festivals and Rockin' On The River concerts, which he would take his daughters to every chance he got. Robert loved to spend time with his family and friends whenever he could. At the time of his passing, Robert resided in Cloverdale, Indiana.
Robert W. Smith Jr. is preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Smith Sr.; stepfather, Larry Cochran; and Grandparents, Benjamin Reed Sr. and Nancy Reed.
Robert W. Smith Jr. is survived by his mother, Patty Cochran, and sister, Krystal (Jason) Milliken; his ex-wife, Kristin (Caitlyn) Bruner; daughters Emily (Nick) Ager, Rachael Smith, and Rebecca Smith; nephews Terry, Blaine, and Bryson Milliken; and granddaughter Kaelynn Ager.
Robert was known for his kind personality and openness to all. We invite all who cherished Robert to a Celebration of Life at Acker-Moore Memorial Post's Bunker Hall on February 22nd, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

As a child Bobby loved to play the card game UNO. One time when he was six he was bugging me to play but I was on the phone. I told him if he could do 10 perfect push-ups I'd hang up and play... I can't remember how many he did but it was way more than 10 and we played UNO for hours

Aunt Mary's favorite memory. There are so many. My special one is when he was little every Friday night we got snacks set down and watched The Dukes of Hazzard and The incredible Hulk. May you rest in peace Bobby Love you to the moon and back. Aunt Mary
