I am very sorry to hear that my childhood friend had moved on. I saw his name on the monthly Ignatius publication and it brought back great memories.
I first met Bob when we went to St. Columbkille together. He was easily one of the smartest kids in the school but he was also a standout athlete when we played against each other in the Seven Hills Baseball League.
We then attended St. Ignatius together and sometimes he would come by and pick me up to go to school in his white, K-car! It was awesome because his windshield wiper motor didn't quite work so he attached a string to the one on the drivers side. and pulled it to help the motor get the wiper across the windshield.
He was a good friend and no doubt smiling on all of you.

My sincere sympathy for the Stager family. Dr. Stager delivered, by c-section, both of my great granddaughters. Natalie Paige Henry on Jan. 9th, 2017 and Lillian Skye Henry on Feb. 26th 2018. I just heard about his passing. He was always so kind, caring, friendly, knowledgeable. Such a loss to the medical community.

Bob was a great paperboy years ago on Cherry Lane. We loved his charismatic smile and his sweet demeanor. He grew up to be a great physician and educator who will be sorely missed by so many.
