Stolzenberger

Robert C. "Bob" Stolzenberger, 69, of West Chester, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 9, 2018. Bob was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Alma and Clyde Stolzenberger. He grew up in North College Hill and attended North College Hill High School where he was president of his class and captain of the football team. He then worked extremely hard to make his way through college where he received his B.A. from the University of Cincinnati. Bob was a strong, talented business man that landed him as one of the top executives at Luxottica where he was Director of Distribution for North & South America, as well as Europe. He put his wife through nursing school at UC Blue Ash where she achieved her dream of becoming a stellar nurse! Bob and Nancy were a great team -after Nancy graduated from nursing school he helped her start her own home health agency. They owned and operated Tender Care Home Health Inc. for many years. He loved to golf with his buddies but his favorite times where the vacations he spent at the beach (Myrtle Beach) with his family. He was a devoted husband, a wonderful father to Jennifer and Bobby and often referred to his children as his "treasures". He loved his granddaughters and enjoyed spending time with them and hearing all about what was going on in their lives. He met his wife (Nancy), at the age of 13, the "love of his life" and they were married on June 6, 1970. They were married for nearly 35 years until she passed away from cancer in 2005 at the age of 56. Bob has mourned the loss of his wife (Nancy) for the last 12 ½ years and he truly died of a broken heart. His family finds peace in knowing that he has reunited with Nancy and his heart has healed. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Berigan and son Robert J. "Bobby" Stolzenberger, son in law Brian Berigan, daughter in law Jodi Stolzenberger and his two beautiful granddaughters Kylee Berigan and Ella Berigan. He is also survived by his sister Bonnie Zimmerman and husband Ken, brother in law Larry Arszman and wife Sandy, and nieces/nephews (Lisa Rillie, Mike Radel, Jeff Arszman, Mike Arszman and Christy Arszman). The visitation will be at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt.42) West Chester, Ohio 45069 on Saturday, January 13, 2018 (the visitation will be held from 1:00pm-2:00pm with a memorial service to follow). My sympathy goes out to the family during your time of grief. As the days and weeks pass and as you return to your routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of your family and friends and knowing that God is near when our hearts are broken.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked with him at Lens Crafters. He took the time to listen and make it a good work environment. He loved and was proud of his family. I know after Nancy passed it was a rough road. I am happy he is at peace. Sue Rudolf

Bob taught me so much about people and myself. He was very good at his job, and cared about his employees. He was always supportive and saw potential in every one he encountered. The world has truly lost a great man. My prayers are with his children and family. I believe he left a piece of himself with everyone who worked for him.
