Robert Stringer

STRINGER, Robert "Bob" John of Huron Park, Ontario, and formerly of Welland, at the Welland Hospital, on Sunday, August 12, 2007, in his 51st year. Loved father of Stephanie Stringer of Welland and Michael Stringer (Nicole) of Red Deer, Alberta. Loving son of Em and the late Gordon Stringer of Chatham. Dearest brother of Paul Stringer (Darlene) of Beamsville, Doug Stringer (Cheryl) of Welland, and Julie Renaud (Paul) of Windsor. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Chatham, Bob was educated in Welland and graduated from Centennial High School and as well was married and started his family in Welland. He was employed as an aircraft sheet metal worker for a great number of years with Fleet aircraft in Fort Erie until its closing and then with Mount Hope Airport and currently with Goderich Airport. Friends are invited to visit at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland, on Tuesday, August 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Father Jim Mulligan of the Parish Community of St. Kevin will conduct a private family service in the Cudney Chapel Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be deeply appreiated by the Stringer family.
