Robert J Sullivan

Robert John Sullivan, 74, of South Windsor, CT, died on August 12, 2025. He grew up in Manchester, CT with parents Ruth (McCue) Sullivan and Joseph William Sullivan. He graduated East Catholic High School in 1967 and went on to Central Connecticut State University before going to work for Cigna. He worked most of his career as a computer programmer. He also wrote science fiction. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen (Murphy) Sullivan and is survived by his children Sean (Allison) and Elizabeth (Kevin). His grandchildren, Ruairí, Georgia, Fionnuala and Emmett will miss their Bop. He is also survived by his siblings, William Sullivan, Margaret Carmody, and Sean P. Sullivan. A memorial service will be held at Unitarian Universalist Society East, in Manchester, CT, on Saturday, October 11, at 10am. Those wishing to honor Bob may make a donation to their local Little League program in memory of his love for baseball, especially for watching kids learn the game.
