Robert Surin Obituary
November 21, 1949 - February 25, 2025
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert E. Surin, age 75, on February 25, 2025. He was the cherished husband of Glorianne Surin and loving father of Jody Ann, Robert Emil, and Alex Joseph (Alicia). Robert was a dearest grandfather to Abby and Elik, a devoted uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Robert, affectionately known as Bob and/or YOGI, was a beloved barber for nearly 55 years, creating lasting friendships with his clients along the way. His gentle nature and knack for conversation made him a friend to all who walked into his shop.
Beyond his work, Bob was an avid fisherman. He spent countless hours on the water with his children, brother, grandchildren, nephews, and friends. While catching fish was often secondary to the joy of being together, the memories made in those moments - the laughter, stories, and shared experiences - will live on in the hearts of all who joined him.
Bob's legacy is one of love, kindness, and connection. He touched the lives of many with his warmth, sense of humor, and dedication to his family and friends. His memory will forever be cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to know him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to honor Bob's life and the many ways he brightened the world. Details will be shared closer to the date.
He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

God Bless you "GB" as everyone I knew called you that. You meant a lot to Jim, Par's & I'm sure all your customers! My heart goes out to your family! RIP Bob as you will be totally missed! Say Hello to Jim because you meant so much to him. Sad you weren't able to see him or talk to him at home before he passed, but I'm sure you are enjoying him now.

Bob the Barber was a cornerstone of my upbringing. Being a Parnitzke grandson meant working at Par´s in the summers and having Bob as a third Uncle. Bob taught me about hard work through example, how to be a decent man, and the love & respect between Bob and my Grandfather was evident to all. I wish everyone had a Bob the Barber in their life growing up. World would be a better place.
Hope the Surin family can rest easy knowing he is in peace.

Bob was a great guy, I have known him since grammar school. A lot of great memories. Through the years! He did a lot for John and me and we had a lot of good times with him and Glor. Sending hugs to his family because he was so close with them and I know they are hurting. Love too all he will be missed!
