Robert Tilghman Obituary
SALISBURY, Maryland - Robert "Bob" Lee Tilghman, age 78, passed away on June 12, 2024, in Salisbury, Maryland. He was born on September 14, 1945, in Salisbury, MD.
Bob was a caring and sweet person who touched the lives of many. He served in the Coast Guard and was dedicated to his military service. Bob had a passion for fishing, going to the beach, golfing, and playing softball in his free time.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jackie Tilghman, his son Robert Tilghman JR, sister Peggy Metly, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his son Richard Tilghman, mother Jean Tilghman-Dykes, and father Robert Stuart.
A private celebration of life will be held on June 23, 2024, to honor and remember Bob's life and legacy.
Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
