Robert Wickman Obituary
Bob graduated from Oshkosh High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and was a veteran of WW II and the Korean Conflict. After his discharge from the Military, he was a Senior Engineer at the Nevada Test Site where he worked for another 22 years. He had been a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada for 50 years.
Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joan; daughters, Mary Wickman and Barbara Durazzo; son-in-law, Michael; son, Robert R. Wickman, all of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, Steven C. Wickman, (wife Tiffany), of Illinois, and Alyssa and Nicholas Durazzo of Las Vegas; and one great-grandchild, Melaney Wickman of Illinois; sister, Margaret Schmude, of Oshkosh Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Eileen Miller of North Carolina; brother-in-law, Edward Ahrens; sister-in-law, Terry; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on April 3, 2013 at Palm Mortuary, 1600 N Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada. Burial will be a private ceremony.

Dear Bob,
"I love you to the moon and back" was our favorite saying.
Yoy were my loving husband, friend and lover. I will always remember how lucky I was to have you in my life. I have so many wonderful memories to remember you by. We raised 3 great children who will take good care of me just as you did. 3 grand children and 1 great grand child that were the light of your life.

I will deeply miss my father. He was my "ROCK". He was an outstanding Father, great husband, grand Father and great grand Father. He lived each for his family. I only hope I can turn out to be half the man he was. He will live on in our memories. Rest in peace. Love, your son Robert

I had the pleasure and honor of growing up with Bob's daughter Barbara. The Wickman's were a fantastic family and I was lucky enough so spend lots of time with them. It has been years since I had seen him but, my deepest sympathy to the entire family. Love to you all!
