Robert Wicks Obituary
Robert F. Wicks, after 25 years living with Parkinson's, lost his battle on October 24, 2018.
He always did his best to enjoy life and he never complained.
Robert worked on the railroad for over 30 years. Earlier in life, he loved to go to Railroad and Insulators Shows. He enjoyed antiquing, garage sales, fishing and playing euchre at the Elks. He loved animals, helping many find homes through Maumee Valley Save-A-Pet and the family veterinarian.
Bob loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, who have been together 55 years; son, Bryan (Melissa) Wicks; daughter, Renee (Jeff) Noftz; grandchildren, Adam and Chloe Wicks and Jordan Noftz.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, November 3rd, at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Maumee Valley Save-A-Pet or to the charity of the donor's choice.
The family would like to thank Perrysburg Commons and Heartland Hospice for the great care Robert was given during his last days. Please leave condolences for the family at walterfuneralhome.com or our Facebook page.

I worked with Bob at Penn Central/Conrail, mostly in the Airline Jct. bill office. He was a great clerk and a fun guy to work with. Sincerest condolences to his family and many friends.

BOB & I MET...WHEN WE WERE 7 YEARS OLD...WE WERE INSEPARABLE FROM THEN ON...HE WAS MY " BROTHER " I NEVER HAD....WE MAINTAINED THAT LEVEL OF FRIENDSHIP ALL THESE YEARS..THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE MY LOSS..HIS FAMILIES LOSS....MY ONLY COMFORT..HE DOES NOT HAVE TO STRUGGLE WITH HIS LIFE CHALLENGE ANYMORE...
