Roberto Guadarrama

Roberto Guadarrama passed away peacefully after years of battling his health conditions. He was a selfless man who made it his job to provide a stable and secure life for his family. His love and laughter will continue to live through his family and friends, although we will miss him dearly we will never forget the impact he made on each and every one of us along with the memories we’ve shared. 
 
Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Carmen and Otilio Guadarrama… Roberto loved his culture and homeland but shortly after the completion of his studies he made his way to the states where he would plant his roots in Chicago, Illinois. There he found employment as a foreman at Ford Automotive where he worked 25 plus years. In his free time he was an active member of his community and church. He was a man of many talents one of which being his ability to play instruments. Roberto loved music, sharing his gift with his community was second nature to him. He played in the Chicago Cuatro Orchestra and loved to sing. He also had a love for traveling, going places such as Mexico, Bahamas, even Israel where he was baptized in the same river Jesus Christ was. He was faithful in his contributions to the church and organizations he believed in. In 2005, he would later move to Clermont, Florida to enjoy his retirement and still participate in his church doing the things he loved most.
 
Roberto is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter 
 
Family and friends are welcome for visitation from 5 pm to 9 pm Tuesday, November 29th at Becker Funeral Home in Clermont Fl. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 am Wednesday, the 30th at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont.
