Robin Shanta Berry (née Kirk), born on February 12, 1980, in Alexander City, Alabama, passed away on July 16, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 44. Robin was a dedicated caregiver and substitute teacher, known for her fun, outgoing personality and deep love for her family and friends.

Robin was the beloved wife of George Berry and a devoted mother to Drew Hill, Dakota Hill, Cloey Berry, and Christian Berry. She was also a cherished grandmother to Everly Rain Hill and Mahalieagh Rae Berry. Robin is survived by her father, Joe Vickers Kirk, daughter-in-law Kayla Hill, and was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Lovelady Kirk, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins who left an indelible mark on her life.

Robin spent her life nurturing others, both in her professional role and at home. She found joy in spending time at the beach, attending concerts, and traveling. Her commitment to her community was evident through her active participation at Daviston Baptist Church.

A memorial service was held on July 27, 2024, at the Daviston Community Center, beginning at 2 PM. The Alabama Funeral Home in Opelika, Alabama, assisted with the arrangements.

Robin's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire and comfort her family and friends.
