Dear Tutela Family,

I'm sorry this condolence is late.
I just heard of Dr. Tutelas passing and was very upset. He was a wonderful man.
I had a breast reduction in 1995 and never for got him. He was a wonderful, caring, gentle man, who truly cared about you. I always spoke highly of him and will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dr. Rocco was truly a man for all seasons and a gentleman. I would always joke with him about his golfing skills and "hole in one" at Rock Spring Country Club. I just learned of his passing. I extend my sympathy to the Tutela family. I will miss him greatly.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

To the Tutela Family,
While in college, I was a waitress at Rock Spring Club and truly enjoyed being in Dr. Tutela's company as he always treated everyone with respect. He also performed my breast reduction surgery. I was only supposed to be in the hospital 2 days, but Dr. Tutela let me stay for a week because I was in so much pain. He would come in my room each morning with a big smile, ask me how I was feeling, then say, "ok dear, why don't you stay another day and get some rest, I'll check on you in the morning". Such a warm and caring man. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Dr. Tutela was a wonderful Doctor., I will never forget him or his dad who delivered me., My father took me to him when I was 16 years old and said my nose needed a little fixing up, I am now 46 years old and I still get complimented on my beautiful nose.
When my Dad got sick 16 years ago,
my family and I did'nt know what to do., we called Dr. Tutela., He took time and helped us find the right doctors to go to.
He was truly a wonderful Doctor who will never be forgotten.

Dear Tutela Family:

Dr. Tutela was my doctor over seven years ago. I'll never forget the day I was scheduled for surgery. It was his first day back from his knee surgery. All the sudden the entire operating room staff at Columbus Hospital came out of rooms and hallways to acknowledge his return. Their were cheers and tears of happiness for such a GREAT and COMPASSIONATE human being. This man saw all kinds of people with love and compassion. God bless his family for having him in their lives. Your memories of him together will keep him alive in your hearts. My prayers are with you and him in heaven next to our Heavenly Father.

To all the Tutelas,

I first met Rocco over 30 years ago while we were both relatively young doctors in the surgical suite at The St. James Hospital. What stands out in my mind as a first and lasting impression is that Rocco was a gentleman and obviously full of compassion.

Arthur, you also have those qualities and I hope that this difficult time is kind to both you and your family.

Dear Mrs. Tutela and Family,

I am saddened by the passing of your loving husband and father. Doctor Tutela was my plastic surgeon 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and went through a mastectomy and reconstruction. He was wonderful, caring and gentle and made my journey easier than I could imagine. I know his patients loved him and you can count me among them them.

Dear Franca, Lena and Family:
I was so saddened to hear of Rocco's passing. I spent the beginning of his career and my adulthood with the three of you (and Arthur Sr., of course) as we all worked to get his practice up and running. You have been in my memory for all these years. I can't begin to tell you how often I have thought of you all. You helped form a lot of who I am today. I thank you for those memories and I wish you much love and comfort.

Mrs Tutela, Arthur and family,
I worked with Dr. Tutela for many years at the St. Barnabas outpatient surgery center, L&B room. He always had a smile and he always had on great cologne. No matter how late he was for my room, he always had time to ask me how I was doing. Always a gentleman with a kind word, never saw him get mad. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To the Tutela Family, My prayers go out to you for the loss of a great, great man. He touched so many lives;caring, kind and reassuring. He beamed at the mention of his family (an office photo-ski trip) and was so humble. Everyone I ever met who knew him: staff, patients, friends - smiled at the mention of his name. He made you feel so special. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I dealt with Dr Tutela professionally in which he treated and or evaluated clients who were injured and left with scars. He and staff were always accessible friendly and frankly he was so good I had clients settle claims before the Dr eradicated or bettered scars since he was so good.

When I recieved a letter from the office I had hoped and prayed he would get better but then I recieved letter only on 12/23/.

My prayers and condolences are with the Dr family and office for your loss.

As a member of the Columbus Hospital Pharmacy Department for over 30 years I am truly saddened by the passing of my friend Dr. Tutela. I also had the pleasure of working with his father Arthur for many years--another true gentleman. Both were wonderful physicians who treated us in the pharmacy with respect as equal health care partners. The time spent with Rocco paled in comparison to my Aunt Concetta who on a regular basis was his nurse at the Columbus Hospital outpatient Pre/Post-Op surgery area. She is equally saddened by his passing. We collectively wish his family our heartfelt condolences.

It truly saddens me to know that such a great spirit has left this earth, Rocco was one of the Greatest men I have ever known and through his example and that of his father, he has insured his legacy through his children (finer children are hard to find) I worked with Dr. Tutela at Columbus Hospital for most of my adult life, and can not name a better human being than this Man! He and his wife treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. So long friend and I only wish that Franca finds comfort in knowing that they are both loved.
