I was writing my life story for my children, and Rodney is in it. Rodney was a piece of my life from 1956 to 1964. We attended the same high school and college. In fact, we road the #42 bus to St. Joseph High School together, competed in science fairs and worked for his father together. I remeber calling him at some time, I don't remember why...Had a nice long talk with him. He was so vital, creative, enthusiastic, and interesting. I'm sure he has been entertaining God with some creative idea. ...

Lynn,

So sorry to hear about Rod's passing. I was blessed to have had the pleasure to work for him at Rod L. Bakos Technologies, Inc and later, The Bakos Group. He was the most generous and shall I say, interesting employer I have ever had.

Having enjoyed meeting you and being entertained in your home, I could see how much you loved each other. My thoughts, sympathy, and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.

May God bless you and your family as you go through this difficult time together.

Dear Lynn, Lori, Michelle, Sean and Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time so soon after Rod has passed on.

Even amidst our sorrow, we ought also to celebrate Rod's life.

Rod and I became friends 45 years ago when we were students at the University of Dayton.

Since then I've known precious few people who have had his energy and vision in breaking outside the mundane and taking new risks. He also knew how to laugh as well as spread a joyous table for his friends.

My ties to the Bakos family became even more special when I became Michelle's godfather in 1966.

I take great joy in that he and his wife, children and grandchildren reached out to each other in love in such a special way as Rod's earthly life came to an end.

Lynn, you brought so much happiness into Rod's life. As an old friend of his, thank you.

Please let me know how I might help you to celebrate Rod's memory.

Love and God Bless,

Bob
