Rodolfo Daher Obituary
Rodolfo (Rudy) Daher Sr 81 passed away suddenly in Buenos Aires, Argentina on July 4, 2016. He was born on March 2, 1935 in Chacabuco, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, the youngest son of Antonio and Patrocinia Daher. As a teenager he was the 1951 Argentine champion in Grecco-Roman wrestling, fly weight division.
In 1963 he immigrated to the United States with his wife and children settling in Greenwich, CT where he successfully started and ran Associated Service, an appliance and refrigeration service company. After 25 years he relocated the business to Fort Myers, FL and continued its success until 2004 when he retired to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He is survived by his wife Vita, son Rudy Daher Jr., daughters Alex Knudsen, Grace Dietzman and Patty Andersen, his sister Nellie Daher, 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Sept. 24, 2016 at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, Fort Meyers Fl, beginning at 12:00 p.m. with interment immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Save the Children.
