Roger was a kind, funny and generous man and good dad. My deepest sympathy to Bonnie and family. He was a good guy.

Dear Bonnie and family,
Please accept our sincere sympathy for the passing of your beloved husband and father, Roger. May the memories you shared as a family be of comfort to you in the days ahead. Roger fought a brave fight and you were with him every step of the way! May God in His infinite goodness grant him eternal rest.
Please know you are daily in our thought and prayers. God bless all of you and may He give you the strength and support you need going forward.

We were thankful to be invited to this past Thanksgiving dinner at the Barthmaiers and were able to visit with Roger and Bonnie. While he may have been moving a bit slower, Roger was his usual jovial and talkative self.
The Roger we knew loved to talk. With vodka and cigarette in hand, he would regale us with his stories about Philadelphia, grandkids, Maine, golf, and of course, politics and current events. It was fun to prod him a bit with certain current topics that would get him particularly animated.
I am sure that the success of his family and grandchildren were a comfort to him. We wish all the best to the family.
