Roger Despatie

DESPATIE, Roger (retired Manager of Caisse Populaire Champlain, Ottawa) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Roger Despatie on January 15 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Odette Vachon. He leaves behind his daughters: Louise, Suzanne (Marc Desjardins) and Monique (Bernard Fournier); his sons: Jacques (Ginette Clement) and Paul (Geraldine Gallagher); his grandchildren: Annie Despatie-Chabot (Stephane Newberry), Benoit Despatie, Daniel Despatie (Natalie Cox), Pierre Desjardins (Jessica Presseault), Alexandre Desjardins, Maxime Despatie St-Amour, Sarah Despatie, Catherine Despatie; his great-granchildren; Camille Chabot-Newberry, Zoe and Vincent Desjardins; his sister Yolande (Noel Villeneuve); his brother Gaston and his sister-in-law Louise Dulude (the late Fernand Despatie). Visitations will be held at LA COOPERATIVE FUNERAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cite-des-Jeunes Blvd., in Gatineau (Hull sector), on January 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and January 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service will be held on January 21 at 2 p.m. For those who wish to do so, donations to the Canadian Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
