Roger Alan Lockwood, 74, of Summerfield, FL, passed away on August 10, 2017, with his family by his side. He was born in Greenwich, CT on November 10, 1942, to the late Floyd R. and Eleanor (Fox) Lockwood. Roger graduated from Greenwich High School class of 1961, and went on to serve our country in the United States Air Force from 1961-1965. Upon his honorable discharge from the military, Roger married his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth (Deierlein) Lockwood. They were married for 52 years until Elizabeth's passing in April of this year. Roger was a police officer for the City of Norwalk until his retirement in 1992. Roger was a great cook and was known for his delicious potato salad. He had a green thumb, loved flowers and could make anything grow. He will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure to know him.
