Sorry I couldn't be at Rog's service, Sandra. I'm sure Rog is having a cold lager wearing green & white looking over his beloved Huskies. I still picture Rog as the chubby little guy bouncing off the walls back in 1966 with his Hot Wheels cars chasing his mom's dog Pretzel & getting brother Donnie all wound up. After too many years we were fortunate to have you all visit us 3 years ago. I'll drink a cold one tonight & wish for Rog to have a safe journey, he had a good life cut much too short.

In the North Park community of good friends many years ago, I have several fond memories of Roger ranging from our public speaking competitions (North Park) to fun times in the school band (City Park). Roger was liked by all. Heartfelt condolences to Roger's family at this difficult time.

I met Roger about 30 years ago during summer class on campus. After that, every casual run-in with Roger was never just hello. It was a lengthy discussion about sports, music, politics, family, etc. A very nice, interesting, fellow. Rest in peace.

Sandra and Alicia, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Growing up next door to the Monsons on 10th we were close for a long time, and this continued after your marriage and the birth of Alicia. Roger was strong, intelligent and a quiet man. He will be missed.

I am saddened by Roger's passing. Roger and I shared a lot of common interests, including music and sports. Roger and his mom would always welcomed me with open arms at their North Park home to watch basketball, football, and other sports while sharing opinions on the latest Pink Floyd or Supertramp release. Some of the most memorial times with Roger were during our many concert bands road trips to Banff, Edmonton, and to North Dakota. I will miss Roger's sarcastic and dry sense of humour. My condolences to Roger's family.
