Roger Potvin Obituary
It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Roger on October 3, 2012 at the age of 74. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Vivianne, his two children Michael (Janice) and Pauline (Dave) and four grandchildren, Steven, Meghan, Joel and Derek. Dear brother to Claire Gravel and husband Marcel (deceased), Theresa Bond (Albert), Denise Carroll and husband William (deceased). Roger will also be sadly missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Honorary Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #5865. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 11 am at the St. Francis of Assissi Church, 20 Fairmont Ave., Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

To Vivianne & Family: We were just told of Roger's death and convey our sincere sympathy to you. Jerry played hockey in the young days with Roger and also worked in the same pressroom at Mortimers. Roger was well liked by everyone who knew him.

Our deepest sympathy to each and everyone of you. You are considered our extended family, as we have been friends for so long. Roger was like a Dad to us and we will miss his presence and great sense of humour, especially at the cottage. Uncle Roger has always been one of my favourite uncles. He was so cheerful, kind and thoughtful. I have many memories of him singing along my Dad and other Gervais family members. He will be greatly missed. My sympathies to Aunt Vivien, Michel and Pauline.
