Roger Zimmerman Obituary
Roger A. Zimmerman died on November 30, 2016 at his home in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina. He was born in Greensboro on February 24, 1944, the son of the late Ralph and Lou Della Zimmerman.
Mr. Zimmerman earned his bachelor’s degree from High Point University and worked as a systems analyst. Roger was an avid fisherman and enjoyed surf fishing at Cape Hatteras.
He is survived by his four children, Tina McPherran of Williamsburg, VA, Jeffrey Zimmerman of Virginia Beach, VA, Kimberly Zimmerman of Denver, CO, and Gregory Zimmerman of Wilmington, NC, his siblings Sarah Mason, Steve Zimmerman, and Robert Zimmerman & 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Zimmerman.
The family would like to thank Sandie, Susan, and Christopher of Harbor Point RV Park for their acts of kindness and support.

Sally, I know how hard it is to suddenly lose a younger brother, as I lost my brother Jim several years ago. Good to know Roger still lives through his 4 children and his grandchildren (my brother was childless) who have a fine Aunt Sally.
