Roland Daniel Patterson

Roland Daniel Patterson (born on March 17, 1971 in Phoenix, AZ )passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2024. Roland was a proud father, a dedicated worker, and a committed friend. But most of all, he was the protector with an immense capacity for love to all his friends and family.

Roland was known for his warm and humorous personality. All who knew him could not be in his presence without cracking a smile or being (voluntarily) crushed by a bear hug. He dedicated much of his life to his career, bringing his strong work ethic forward as a truck driver and owner-operator. Yet his commitment to the job was only as strong as the motivation behind it - a deep drive to provide as much as he could for his family.

Family was everything to Roland. His laughter, jokes, and bear hugs are only a few things that will be immensely missed by all who loved him. Roland was a proud father and is
survived by his daughters, Jessica Mannhardt, Christina Cowley, Randi Patterson, and Sara Patterson; his son, Danny Patterson; his parents, Danny and Stella Patterson; his sister, Bobbi Patterson; his cousin, James Patterson; his sister and brother-in-law, Sebrena and Wess Neatherlin; and many aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Roland's memory can be made to the National Diabetes Foundation or or any local organization helping those with disabilities. Roland's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew him.
