I was just looking him up for a retired Wagner teachers 50th breakfast event and was so sad to see that Rolf had passed away a year ago. We taught together at Wagner back around '89. He was a wonderful person; so kind, caring, compassionate and positive. He had a very positive impact on the students he mentored and the people he worked with. My sincere condolences to Carol and the family.

Dear Carol and family, I taught with Rolf at WP Wagner and connected with him a bit again in the last ten years, including visiting Carol & Rolf in our home just over a year ago. I just now found out about Rolf's passing and am so saddened to hear this. Please accept my deepest condolences. Rolf was so easy to talk to & so refreshingly positive. We've lost a wonderful person here on earth and heaven has gained a gem. Kathy Osbaldeston

I was really sad to hear about Rolf's passing. Rolf taught me at Wagner from 1976 to 1979. I was in a pretty bad place when I got to Wagner and Rolf was instrumental in helping me turn my life around.
After leaving Wagner, I eventually became a teacher, and I give Rolf the credit for that. I would like his family to know he made a huge difference in my life - he showed me that what you do in life can really matter to someone. Rolf really mattered to me.
I'm about five years away from retirement now, and there are still many days that I think back to the late 70's when Rolf was helping me to find my way in life, and now I am trying to do the same thing with my students.
Thank you, Rolf.
You mattered to a lot of people and you made a big difference in the lives of many people through the years.
