Former service manager at Ottawa Ford
At the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, Ron Brookes of Blossom Park, age 73. Ron is survived by his son Chris of Gatineau, his daughter Tina of Blossom Park, his adopted son Jamie Jordan of Williamsburg, and his granddaughter Sarah. There will be no visitation or service. Donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Michel Dionne and the palliative care team, and every nurse on the 6th floor north east at the Ottawa General Hospital for the compassionate care they provided to Ron during his final days. As Ron would say "Celebrate Life!"

I was just informed today of Ron's passing. So saddened to hear of the loss of one so special. Ron called it as it was. It was my sincere pleasure to have known him all these years.

I can't express how truly sad I am losing uncle Ron. Tina and Chris my heart goes out to you. He was loved very much by his family and friends. I'll always have fond memories.

Tina Chris and family I'm sorry for your loss.I met Ron in 1979 when I started working for Ottawa Ford, he was great person to work for and friend outside of work. He will be truly missed.

To Ron Brooke's Family.
Ron was a wonderful man to talk with and a great racer and incredible knowledge of anything with the color Blue for a motor it was a privilege to have known him. I enjoyed competing against him in the 80's win or lose he enjoyed Drag racing against anyone, money meant nothing, the camaraderie was more important. Rest in Peace Ron.CR
