Ron's remains were interred with his beloved Loretta at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon yesterday with military honors. My wife Jayne played The Battle is Over and Amazing Grace on the bag pipes as a final send off to our friend.

Ron and I were friends from muzzleloader Rendezvous days, over 30 years. His wife Loretta and daughter Kay were also friends, especially of my wife Fran until her passing. Ron and I shared a love of Native American beadwork; Ron the Master Craftsman and me the novice. We became much closer when Ron moved to The Dalles. My daughter Jodi and I will miss Ron terribly!! But he DID send us his RAVEN to let us know he´s safely home!!

We often spoke on the phone about his bead work and how much he enjoyed doing it, he was the youngest of the original York family born in this country, none are left from his generation
Blessings to your spirit as it moves on to the next journey
Blessings,

Uncle Ron was the last of my father's siblings. Although it had been too long since we had seen each other, it was always good to talk on the phone. We will miss him.
