Ronald Brown Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 15, 2024.
Ronald Lee Brown "Mr. Marvelous", 78, of Muncie, Indiana passed away October 12, 2024, at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. He was born on March 6, 1946, to Charles and Thelma (Hyde) Brown.

Ronald enjoyed square dancing, line dancing, and traveling with his wife Pat and friends through the years. A nice 1,500-mile trip on the Harley on beautiful summer days was a joy. Ronald attended Glad Tidings on Muncie North Side and Faith Life Church; he loved Jesus with all his heart. After 30 years at General Motors as a manufacturing engineer, he had an additional 13 years at Delphi Battery. His work gave him opportunities to tour numerous countries. Later in life, a small diesel truck hauling an airstream camper kept him and Pat busy seeing the United States.

"Mr. Marvelous", whatever pain or suffering, he endured he never complained, he was 'just marvelous.'

Ronald leaves behind his wife Pat, married on 12/31/1998, Ron's sons; Mark, Jason (Tina), Neal (Autumn), and Sean Brown, Pat's children; Michael, Andy (Tina) Pryor, Heather (Jack) Meadows, and Jeremiah (Rachel) Syphers, siblings; Raymond (Carol) Brown, and Gloria Oesch, along with three special friends; Penny, Jourcie, and Lincoln and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, son; Joshua Syphers, and siblings; Dale Brown, Peggy, Gatis, Tiller Miller, and Judy Brown.

Ronald will be having a celebration of Life at Glad Tidings Muncie North Side on Hessler Road on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
