Ronald Edmonds Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 1, 2025.
Ronald David Edmonds, born on April 7, 1967, passed away on December 16, 2024, in Provo, Utah. He was 57 years old.

Ron is survived by his ex-wife of 34 years, Debra Ann (Scott) Edmonds, and their five children: Je-Ve' Marie (Edmonds) Despain (36), R.J. (Ronald Gary Junior) Edmonds (34), Jacob Alvin Edmonds (32), Corbin Terry Edmonds (26), and Joshua Dewitt Edmonds (24). He is also survived by his four beloved grandchildren: Lorna Ann Despain (13), Alfric Keith Despain (10), Milo Carter Edmonds (7), and Faolan Marie Despain (6).

He leaves behind his parents, Gary Stringham Edmonds and Leona (Adams) Edmonds, as well as his siblings: Gary Bruce Edmonds, Sherry (Edmonds) Evans, Shauna (Edmonds) Remmers, Jana (Edmonds) Acton, and Heather Marie Edmonds.

Ron spent his early years in West Bountiful, Utah. As a young boy he played street games with his siblings and neighbor kids, and enjoyed camping with his family. Ron was quite musical and learned to play the trombone and drums really well, much to his sisters dismay, as his bedroom was next to theirs. Ron always had a calm and gentle demeanor.

As an adult he loved taking his family to Disneyland and the beach. He loved playing with his grandchildren. He loved camping and travel with his family.

Throughout his life, he pursued entrepreneurial ventures by owning several businesses and worked in sales for various companies.

Music, photography, and technology-particularly cell phones and computers-were among his favorite interests.

A funeral service to honor Ron's life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at 1456 East 300 North in Provo, Utah (east entrance). Following the service, he will be laid to rest at the Provo Cemetery.

Ronald David Edmonds will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to his loved ones during this time of loss.
