All us beauty school girls would head to the country store for beer with Larry, Tom , and Terry. And if we have them a kiss, they bought us beer!! My dad told me to stay out of that place , but I met the very best folks there, Badger was one of the very best I´ve ever known. Peace to your on your soul journey. Luv ya , miss ya, mean it!!. Merry Christmas Larry!!

I'll never forget his laugh! It was a sound that made me laugh because I just couldn't help it. Lol

Larry was one of the best friend I´ve ever known and I will miss him. My name is Gary Edward Hanshaw I´m actually from Oakland but I´m in Penn Valley now. Larry helped me build my house. One of the best guys this world has ever had. You can´t ask for a better friend. I will miss him.

Larry was one of the first person's I met when I moved here in 1979. I remember the trek out to his paradise in the woods. Always made me chuckle when he told about bathing in the ice cold river. I always enjoyed hanging out at his place, it brought peace and serenity in just being there. Larry was always a kind and gentle soul and a true friend to so many. Of course throughout the years we'd bump into each other and he always had a bear hug to give. Gone too soon. "Ride high with God" my friend.

First man I ever met who lived in a tree house. 1978/79 I have great memories of Larry - either on the Yuba River, his piece of heaven in Rough & Ready, or in Reno. I feel very fortunate to have met him

Badger was a double Brother to me. First he was my AMM American Mountain Men Brother and also a Harley Brother. He always treated people with respect and was a stand up man. He will be missed by all that had the honor of knowing him. He will be waiting for us just on the other side when it's our time to cross over. Go easy Brother.

What a beautiful tribute. I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful brother, uncle, grand-uncle and friend. I never met Larry, but I loved hearing Lori´s stories about him. I am sure he will be sorely missed by many.
