I was so sad and shocked to hear that Mr. Schurman had passed away. My deepest condolences to Marge and his family. He was a very caring and loving person...an amazing man. I worked for Mr. Schurman at Montreal Shipping. There was never a Montship Christmas party that we were not each others date! He was never without a smile or kind words.
Rest in peace Mr. Schurman. You will never be forgotten.

I remember Mr. Schurman from Montreal Shipping. I often went into his office to chat; about his singing, Nova Scotia and many other topics. I enjoyed those little chats. He was always smiling and it makes me smile remembering those moments.
I would like to send my deepest condolences to his wife Marge, and his family. He was truly a wonderful man.

I remember 'Mr. Schurman' as I called him fondly from our days at Montreal Shipping. No matter what kind of day you were having, he could always bring a smile to your face. Even after I moved away from Montreal, for years he and Marge still sent me a Christmas card. I was so touched.
Rest in peace Mr. Schurman. You are gone, but never forgotten.

I once wrote "My brother Ron" in answer to an on-line survey question "Who is the nicest person you know". I meant it then and I mean it now.

Uncle Ron was like another father to me, or at least that is how he treated me. I suspect he treated everyone the same, with an big heart and open arms. I will miss you Uncle Ron. You always had praise for me in what I did in life. Love always your niece Deb
