Ronald Kyle Sloan COEBURN, Va. Ronald Kyle Sloan, 45, went to be with Jesus Wed, Aug. 22, 2012, at 7:20 p.m., at Holston Valley Hospital, in Kingsport, Tenn. He was a resident of Virginia all his life. He was born in Sandusky, Ohio. But lived in Haysi, Va., most of his childhood and adult life. He lived in-between Abingdon and Coeburn, Va., for the past two years. Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Sloan; his two brothers, Charlie Sloan Jr. and Clovis Sloan; his grandparents, Goble and Vada Sloan and Tate and Bessie Mullins. Ronald is survived by his mother, Dorothy Sloan Rose; and his step-dad, Arvil Rose Jr.; his four brothers, Charles Coleman and his wife, Paulene, A.C. Rose and his wife, Rhonda, Daniel Rose and his wife, Tania, Quentin Sloan and his fiance‚, Jennifer Turner; his five sisters, Helen Lose and husband, Ted, Carol Hensley and her husband, James, Regina Martin and husband, Wade, Ovene Sloan and her fianc‚, Jamie Arnold, and Marsha Ramsey and her husband, Preston; cousin, Doug Mullins and his wife, Pam; and also many additional cousins, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; four aunts, Ruby Payne, Sarah Sloan, Virgie Sloan and Fay Mullins; and his uncle, Frank Sloan and his wife, Ovene. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Pine Grove Church on Caney Ridge, in Coeburn. Family and friends are visiting at the home of his mother in Coeburn.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Ron's sisters. I am not sure if I met any of ya'll but I know if my dad (Jeff Slone) could be with ya'll he would. I hate to lose a member of our extra long family. We all send our Love Jeff, Rita and Payton Slone (my son).
