Hey dad. It's July 31st 2025. I purposely came to visit your grave 21 days after your birthday. Anyone who knows my dad knows the significance of this number 21. This is the first time I was able to come without getting emotional. It's so crazy that I'm 6 ft away from u and can't see or speak to u. I want u to know I miss you. And I think about things from my childhood a lot. Taking me to the old Robert's elementary school on your days off and pitching me baseballs for hours seems to pop in my mind more than anything else. It had to be exhausting for you. But yet , u did it year after year. You taking the day off work was a rarity. But yet when I played in the Three Rivers Stadium game u were there. I remember how proud u were when I hit the triple that day. We lost big but that didn't matter to me. As time passes on I will continue to miss our relationship with each other. Sometimes it wasn't perfect or even close to but know matter what I always was grateful to have you as my Dad. You rest easy now. I will definitely come look for u on about 25-30yesrs. I love you Zippy.
Your Son
Randy.

Zip You were a great friend and neighbor and always someone to talk to, I can remember some of our front porch conversations. I hope you are out of pain and meeting all your ancestors. I'll probably see you in about 30 years but first I have to collect all my dogs on the rainbow bridge. I'm sure they are playing. My condolences to Ron's family and friends. I'm sure he will be sorely missed. RIP Zippy.

Zip, you were a very good man; a decent bowler; a fair poker player; an exceptional husband and father; and a good friend of many years. I will miss you.

No one could come close to playing a better third base at our
Flamingo Field. Zippy was always outstanding. I'll miss that greeting "Hey Perch" i would get on those calls I would make from California. Walking across Larimer Ave. bridge on the way to seeing our girl friends. freezing our----- off in the winter. A few kisses on our girl friends porch was our antifreeze. I'll miss you Zip. From friend "Perch".
