Ronnie Murrietta Obituary
Ronnie is survived by his parents, Carlos and Mary Murrietta; daughters, Alysia Munoz and Maria Murrietta; son, Ronnie Murrietta Jr.; grandmother, Carmen Sosa; brother, Donald Murrietta Sr.; 1 granddaughter; 3 nieces and 5 nephews.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. and Rosary at 12:30 p.m. with Oscar Chavez officiating on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Yuma Mortuary, 551 W. 16th Street, Yuma.
Honarary Pallbearers: Donald Murrietta Sr., Ronnie Murrietta Jr., Donald Murrietta Jr., Isaac Murrietta.

I took it for granted Ronnie would always be around,I never thought I would be saying goodbye to him for the last time.but i did today,what I have left is nice memories of when we were kids, like taking swimming lessons at Kennedy pool, climbing black hill to shoot lizards with his B.B. gun,going out of town with my parents and Simon,to Vegas and San Diego,jammin to KISS,playing in the trees at our Nanas house.and having the best Christmases and parties at all the parks, swimming all day during the summer in the 70's at our house ,and countless sleep overs.but what Im going to miss the most is his kindness , he was always so nice to me even as kids we got so good, the last time I saw him was the day before my mom passed away,I think he went to go say goodbye to my mom , but when he passed away on 4\1\14 I think my mom was telling Ronnie , HELLO AND WELCOME TO HEAVEN !

The Sosa family have lost one of their own......cousin Ronnie Murrietta received his wings! He has joined his first cousins who also left us to soon.You will never be forgotten and when we have family gatherings we will laugh and remember the good times when you slumbered at The Corea's house as a kid .......we will begin with, remember when: Ronnie, Greg and Simon formed a Kiss band in our back yard using broom sticks, a mop and a wooden picnic table for their stage...
