Rosa FERRERI Obituary
Passed peacefully at the Southlake Regional Health Centre on May 4, 2016 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Giuseppe, her proud parents Calogero and Giuseppa Rubino, her brother Antonino Rubino and sister Sandra Zarcone. Beloved mother of Rosario (Reneka), Angela Piazza (John) and Carlo (Debbie). Cherished "nonna" and "bis nonna" to many. Will be sadly missed by her brother Nick Rubino and sister Maria La Barbera, as well as her nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. on Sunday May 8, 2016, with a Mass of Christian Burial taking place at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie, on Monday May 9 at 10 a.m. Following interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, friends and family are invited back to St. Mary's Church for a reception luncheon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosa's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be greatly appreciated by the family. Memories and condolences may be forwarded to the family through www.steckleygooderham.com

I know its taken a couple of months nonna but i had to come light a candle for you how will supper lunches and breakfest be the same without you i miss you my nonna so so much and being the only grand daughter it has been very hard for me i miss calling you almost everyday i love you nonna i hope your ok up there
