ROSALIE A. RAMANOS Rosalie, 92, of York, PA, formerly of Tequesta, FL, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Dr. William J. Romanos. Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Sadie Maloof. A son, Dr. William J. Romanos Jr. and his wife, Geri of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; a daughter, Mary Ann Foster, and her husband, Perry of York, PA survive her. Affectionately known as 'Sitoo' to her four grandchildren, Claudia Smith and her husband, Michael, William J. Romanos III, Esquire, Marie Romanos Sizemore, Esquire, and her husband, Preston, Michael Jacob Romanos and a great-granddaughter, Madeline Rose Smith. Two loving sisters, Eileen Romanos, West Hartford, CT and Mary Zannino of Boston. Loving family members, Jean Tavak Romanos, Laura, Steve, Charlene and Geri Ann Beluscsak and many nieces and nephews. Rosalie was an active member and resident of The Little Club Community in Tequesta and loved golf, bridge, painting and knitting. Her legacy is she had a real zest for life which was contagious to all who knew and loved her. Rosalie's favorite expression was 'God Bless' and we know He will certainly bless and welcome her. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home at 250 Center Street, Jupiter, FL. 561-744-2030. Viewing from 10:00 AM with Service starting at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, West Palm Beach, FL. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in loving memory of Rosalie.
