Rosalind WootenRosalind L. Wooten, age 93, died Thursday, July 10, 2008.Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Eatonton Memorial Park with Rev. Mike Willard officiating.A native of Jasper County, Mrs. Wooten was born on October 24, 1914 to the late Grady and Florence Layson. She lived most of her life in the Kinderhook Community of Putnam County. She was a retired Dairy Farmer and member of the Putnam Pink Lady Auxiliary for many years. Mrs. Wooten was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wooten and son, Billy Wooten.Survivors include her grandsons, Ricky Wooten and wife Dianne, Jeff Wooten and wife Lisa and Joe Wooten and wife Amanda; daughter-in-law, Shirley Wooten; five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister, Gwen Adams of Litchfield, S.C.; brothers, Holt Layson of Miami, Fla., Alfred Layson of Warner Robins and Rayford Layson of Monroe; several nieces and nephews.Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 9 until 10 a.m.Vining Ivy Hill Chapel has charge of arrangements.
