Rosemary Broadbent Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 1, 2024.
Rosemary Re Broadbent died on Oct. 25, 2024.

Rosemary was a teacher in Plymouth and Beverly, and an excellent teacher she was. She then spent 30 years as a social worker at The Home for Little Wanderers in Boston. As her work life shows, her love for children was complete.

Rosemary leaves siblings Janet Johnson (George), Samuel Re, and John Re (June), as well as sons Thomas (Karyn), James (Amy), and Nathan (Daniella), as well as 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She will be sorely missed for her intelligence, loyalty, curiosity, and humor. If you would like to leave a donation in her name, Rosemary would probably most like thehome.org.

A Day of Remembrance will be held at North Shore Unitarian Universalist Church in Danvers on Nov. 3. A further memorial will be held at a later date.

Late 60's, Homeroom 208, B-House, Beverly High School. I'm remembering a teacher from over 50 years ago. Rosemary Broadbent was one of the few great, caring teachers, that's why!
