ROSIE HUNTER Obituary
ROSIE N. HUNTER
Rosie was a secretary in the oilfield. She was an active member of the Desk and Derrick Club of Victoria for 36 years up to the very end. She served as the President of the Desk and Derrick Club three times.
Rosie is survived by her husband, Johnny O. Hunter of Victoria; her daughters, Nita Adams Behrens, Deborah Adams Cox both of La Grange, Cheryl Adams of Seguin, and Jamie Robeson Kleypas of Victoria; step-daughters, Becky Lou Hunter Murphy of Jourdanton, and Margie Ann Hunter Jenkins of Katy; son, Charles Wayne Adams of Cuero; step-sons, Johnny Wade Hunter of La Grange and Robert Cole Hunter of Spokane, WA.; sister, Peggy Blair of Abilene; brother, James E. Fields of New Mexico; 13 grandchildren; 19 step-grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Grace Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Grace Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Forrest W. Imhoff, Jr., Frank W, Imhoff, Douglas W. Cox, Allen E. Kleypas, III, Charlene N. Adams and Darlene Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be La Tasha Adams, Sebrina Plumber, Destiny Blankenship, Chariss Adams, Jenette Sullivan, and Jinnifer Burrow.
Grace Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

You were our grandma no matter what we did or didn't do. You were always there for all of us even when I had my oldest at 15. You were the only one that didn't get mad. You were always there when we needed to vent or to video tape all the holidays n birthdays. Who's gonna do that now? I miss you much now that ur gone but I know that ur not hurting n in pain anymore. I love you n miss u so much grandma. Love always your grand daughter

Rosie was a dear Desk and Derrick Friend! I and all who knew her, miss her. Just think of the great times we will have in Heaven. My heart goes out to her family, please know you are in our prayers.
