Dear Tom, Diane and Meg, there are no words to describe how much I miss Ross. He had such a profound effect on everyone, I can´t help thinking about him everyday. We became best friends the first day we met and we never failed to bring the best out of eachother. Every time I think about you guys my heart shatters, but everytime I think about him it´s almost like he never left me. I speak about him often, to folks who knew him and even complete strangers. I hope y´all find some serenity doing the same, because I truly believe that´s how we keep him around. I´m forever grateful for you sharing him with us.

My old friend. Time eluded you but you made the most of what you were given. I hold the memories of the lakes with me close to my heart to this day. Your impact on the lives of those around you has sent waves through time that simply will not end- I will make sure of this. I miss you but will hold on to our friendship so you will steal back some of the time that was lost. Your memory has brought me and many others great happiness- thank you for that. We miss you.

Ross, you inspired me to skate, helped me learn to shred on the guitar like you... We grew up a few houses down from one another. I still think about you a lot. Thank you for being you. - Dane

Ross was a talented beautiful sensitive wonderful soul. We were supposed to go to our first highschool dance together when he got hit by a car, and we were still able to joke and laugh about it long after. He had that personality where you just felt you had known him forever always making sure you felt comfortable and welcome. He had the ability to make a whole room light up and make everyone smile and laugh forever. I feel very privileged that I was able to speak with him around christmas time, and I am honored to have had the time I did with him and am so so proud to call him my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. We lost an amazing man but his beautiful music we will hear and play forever.

Tom and Diane,
I was looking through photos this past weekend, and found one with Ross in it, and our son Patrick, from the Grace Lutheran ball team, years ago; such sweet little boys. We trust the wonderful memories you have will help you through this horrible time.

To the Mortensens
I am truly blessed to have known Ross. He was a very gentle heart felt soul whose unique personality was surpassed only by his musical talent. Although I hadnt seen him in a few years I still carry our la joya days in my heart. I was happy to hear from him recently and know it must have been for a purpose. Thank you for sharing him with us. He will be missed dearly... my deepest condolences and love to your family.
