Sincere condolences to the Rourke family at this sad and difficult time -I knew Ross first from high school - he was a very kind man with a very big heart - I'm sure he will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all those whose lives he touched over the years.

My deepest condolences to you all on this heartbreaking loss. I only met Ross a couple of times - he was friends with my dad Doug Cooper. He had a heart of gold and helped me out after dad passed away. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dear Rourke family,
We were saddened to hear about Ross. Our last meeting was at our family reunion in Quebec. I remember how Ross enjoyed sharing stories and good laughs with all his family.
Blessings to all. Another Rourke angel watching over us, we are in good hands.

Ross was a special cousin amongst the many Rourke cousins. Although my family never lived in Quebec, my parents maintained a close relationship with Ross and family over many decades. The mutual respect and warmth shared between our families will always be a treasured memory.
Ross was a true "people person". His immediate family was so important to him. At the same time, he went out of his way to stay in touch with his cousins throughout Canada. He was kind and gentle and very thoughtful. He was interested in everything around him. He will be missed.

The very brief meetings with Mr. Rourke at the Québec Chronicle Telegraph office gave me an excellent impression of a fine gentleman and businessman. My sincere condoleances.

I was so sorrry to ear about Ross's passing. I always considered him a true friend and we used to meet periodically when I came to Quebec and enjoy catching up and sharing stories. He will be missed by so many and I always always keep him dear to my heart. Andrea Ross O'Rourke

I was so sorry to hear that Ross left us last week. We had a long grade and high school friendship. As neighbours on Oak we played endless hours of sports and games with the Rourkes, Simons and O'Neills. One game that lived on through our lives was tag, and I think that I am IT. So Ross, when we meet again watch out because you will get tagged.
My sympathies to the expanded Rourke Family, and in particular to Brian and Sheila.
