Age 57 of Wilmington, passed away on March 5, 2014.
Roxanne was born in Wilmington on August 22, 1956. She had worked over 40 years in customer service with both Diamond State Telephone and AT&T, serving most of her career in a managerial role. Roxanne was known for her warm smile and infectious sense of humor, bringing joy to the many lives she touched. She was endlessly loyal and loving to her many family and friends.
Roxanne is survived by her mother, Rita Strazzella and her husband Victor; son, Andre Hopkins; former husband, Warren "Hop" Hopkins; siblings, Diane Harriman, Michelle Hunt-Voly, Jacquie Harriman, and Johnnie Harriman, Rose Gillen, and Debbie Flowers; nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Dianna, Ryan, Lexi, Jazmine, Makai, Tihana, Tosca, and Kiana; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at the CHARLES P. ARCARO FUNERAL HOME, 2309 Lancaster Ave. in Wilmington, on Saturday, March 8 at 1pm. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, prior to service, from 11am to 1pm. Committal Services will be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Roxanne was a close friend since 1991 when we worked in the CTRC. I loved her sense of humor and her laugh. We had a lot of laughs at lunch with the CTRC crowd. She used to yell at me when I called her I would sing the song Roxanne real loud. She told me I was crazy. She will be sadly missed by everyone. Bryan McGiboney (Bubba)

I am so very sorry for your loss, I just found out last night, from a 'Padua' friend. I went to St Anthony's & high school with Roxanne and have the fondest memories of fun times with her. She was very special and I am sorry I didn't know til now - I would have been at the services. Love you Roxanne

I worked with Roxanne in Conyers Ga in the early 90's. She always had a smile on her face and was a joy to be around. She will be missed.

I was shocked today when learned of Roxanne's passing. So sorry for Rita and the rest of the family. I wish I could have attended the viewing, but was not notified until today.
