He is survived by his wife, Linda M. Allen of the home; two daughters, Laura White and Lisa Pratt, both of Sallisaw, OK; one son, Roy W. Allen of Land O' Lakes, Florida; four sisters, Shari Garrison and husband, Ben of Delaware, AR, Dana Barnes and husband, Jim of Tupelo, MS, Linda Jackson and husband, Mike of Maumelle, AR, and Cindy Simpson of Beaumont, TX; two brothers, Charles Allen and wife, Glenda of Paris, AR, and Steve Allen of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Greg Allen, Elena Allen, Roy Allen and Kelsie Pratt, and his mother, Thelma Allen of Paris, AR.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jack Tuck, Jack Green, Kenny Stabb, Jerry Brown, Mike Hewett, and Danny Long.

Roy Wayne, I just heard the terrible news about your dad. Your dad touched many lives and his memories will be in my heart always. I didn't much care for the Star Trek shows we had to watch growing up. He had a big generous heart.

Roy Wayne and Linda you will always be in my heart and I am sorry for our loss. I will miss so many things about Uncle Roy...his laugh, his sense of humor, the way he would squat down for hours with his coffee cup in hand, and I will miss his good heart and the love he always had for his family. I am so sorry for all the pain you all are going through.....Roy Dean was always my Father-n-law. He was always there for my son Greg Allen and he will be missed sooo very much. I love this family like they were still mine and that will never change.... I love you Linda and I will always be here if you need to talk
